HOUSTON, TEXAS, MICRO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi, I am Keira
Where do I begin? I should introduce myself as a micro wedding photographer or a Houston lifestyle photographer, but you already know clearly why you are here! Some people call me ShaKeira; some call me Keira Belle, Kay, Kei-Kei, Kei, and the list goes on. Call me what you want, but just know I am that photographer who will probably call anybody and everybody by a nickname! All jokes aside, I love many things about life, including my dog + husband the most (yes, they are equal.........maybe........I think the dog wins, but that's just me!) I love all things food and sweets. Call me for a night out, and I ask, "But where are you going to eat??" I love traveling, going to the beach, playing video games, drawing, Lana Del Rey, movies, and a neverending array of things. Yes, I play video games, and more than MarioKart, before you think otherwise! Skyrim is my current favorite, and the music is one of my favorite parts of this game. I might be a gamer gal, but I can be a bit more on the introverted side. Crack some jokes or talk about traveling the world; you will fit in right with me!
Whew, I haven't typed that much about myself in a while. You know how you go for a job interview or join a new group, and somebody asks, "So, tell me about yourself?" I just go blank, thinking, "Omg, I am not boring; just let the brain do some braning!?" Sometimes, we just get that moment where we freeze and think, "What am I doing?" So when you meet me for the first time, I will probably ask you the most random questions, say something silly, or make some faces behind the camera that'll make you giggle and laugh. I hope that with all that being said, I want to tell the story and illustrate the picture of me *kapturing* your story so that you don't have to speak. Let's give it a go... like right now, come on!
Keira's Take
Photography is seeingFrom the age of 15, I had always enjoyed playing around with the Nikon my mom gifted to me. Without that special gift, I wouldn't be where I am today. I believe that photography is more than just photos, it's about seeing yourself and the world around you differently. It's about the little things that make you smile from the light hitting your skin, to the look your love gives you, to the moment of "wow, I actually look really good!" Kapture those moments, they stay with you for a lifetime.
